IBASE collaborates with AMD to advance physical AI innovation
Taipei, Taiwan – IBASE Technology Inc., a leading manufacturer of embedded and edge computing solutions, participated in the AMD Advancing AI 2026 event, held in San Francisco, USA, from July 22 to 23.
As part of the AMD robotics ecosystem, IBASE showcased its AA700 robotics edge AI computer powered by the latest AMD Ryzen AI Embedded X100 Series processors, highlighting its collaboration with AMD to accelerate the development and deployment of physical AI.
Designed for rugged, always-on physical AI deployments, the industrial-grade AA700 delivers scalable performance through AMD Ryzen AI Embedded X100 Series processors, integrating up to 16 “Zen 5” CPU cores, an XDNA 2 NPU delivering up to 50 TOPS, and RDNA 3.5 graphics providing up to 60 TFLOPS.
This powerful CPU, GPU, and NPU architecture enables real-time perception, complex scene understanding, and autonomous decision-making. Combining high-performance embedded AI computing with extended lifecycle support, the AA700 provides responsive AI processing, deterministic performance, and long-term reliability in demanding environments.
“The AMD Robotics Partner Network is designed to help partners such as IBASE accelerate the development of physical AI systems through an open and scalable ecosystem spanning edge to cloud,” said KV Thanjavur Bhaaskar, Robotics Lead, AMD.
“It enables a unified approach to robotics innovation that combines hardware, software, and ecosystem collaboration. Advancing robotics requires a balanced approach to performance, real-time determinism, and AI acceleration. AMD is enabling this through a heterogeneous compute platform purpose built for industrial scale physical AI deployments.”
“We are honored to join the AMD Robotics Partner Network. By participating in AMD Advancing AI 2026, IBASE engaged with AMD experts and industry leaders to explore new opportunities in robotics, industrial automation, automotive systems, and edge AI,” said Albert Lee, President of IBASE Technology. “IBASE will continue working closely with AMD to deliver reliable, high-performance computing platforms that accelerate the deployment of physical AI in real-world applications.”
