Shining across Southeast Asia — DUCO Robots leads the new era of smart manufacturing

The global semiconductor industry´s premier event, SEMICON Southeast Asia, was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia recently.

As a pioneering enterprise in China´s intelligent robotics field, DUCO Robots showcased a range of innovative products and cutting-edge industry solutions, demonstrating the hard-core strength and innovation of Chinese »Intelligent Manufacturing» in the high-end semiconductor sector.

At this exhibition, DUCO Robots addressed the dual challenges of »space and efficiency» faced by semiconductor packaging and testing production lines, presenting the AMHS (Automated Material Handling System) solution. Designed for new-build and retrofit scenarios in semiconductor fabs with limited floor space and a ceiling height of only 3 meters, the system combines mobile collaborative robots (fully automated Tray loading and unloading) with OHS (Overhead Shuttle System) to enable fast and smooth transfer of Tray Bundles while fully utilizing overhead space and freeing up ground-level operations.

The entire system is orchestrated by the MCS (Material Control System) platform, achieving seamless coordination between mobile robots and the overhead system, enhancing operational accuracy, efficiency, and flexibility, helping semiconductor fabs reduce costs and improve competitiveness.

Following SEMICON Southeast Asia, DUCO Robots continued its exhibition tour with INTERMACH 2026 Bangkok and MetalTech & Automex 2026 (May 20-23, Malaysia), showcasing welding collaborative robots, palletising workstations, pick-and-place with vision system monitoring, and AMR-enabled pick-and-place applications.

With outstanding performance and advanced intelligent solutions, DUCO Robots continues to captivate audiences at every exhibition, illuminating the future of the industry and demonstrating the depth, precision, and breadth of smart manufacturing, while showcasing the strength and innovation of Chinese high-end manufacturing on the global stage.
